You didn't think it was a world of surplus supply? Well what else could explain the release of a chill out compilation by Michael Caine?
The great man details the genesis of the project here. I feel sure it's the start of something but not a lot of people know exactly what.

What's interesting is in reading his site, it seems that Caine is either posting updated directly and/or he is not allowing himself to be edited, because his comments sound quite personal and human. Very much like his speaking voice, in fact.
Perhaps it's a US / UK cultural difference, but it seems to me that most Hollywood stars of his calibre would not be doing that kind of work themselves. Score one for Caine.
