Flaky Thinking.

Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate
Tastes like chocolate you'd brush to the floor.

Joss Stone features in the latest version of the classic Flake ad. She's there no doubt to modernise the feel, but the women who brought it to my attention had noticed something else.

At the end of the piece, she brushes away the chocolate crumbs and with it all the sensuality. Because, as my friends said, they would never brush the chocolate away, they'd eat every piece flake by flake. Here it just ends up on the floor.

Along with its effectiveness.

It's effectiveness is ruined by the fact that

a: Its a rubbish ad, a celeb vehicle instead of a real flake moment
b: Joss Stone is a poor flake girl, with none of the style of the old ones
c: It makes me want to pierce my eardrums with a biro (one of 1560 in the facbook group of the same name)

Agreed Rob - I deleted my views on celebrity endorsement from the post but they are the same as re sponsorship. As soon as the celebrity becomes more important than the experience you have big problems.

Charles - savoured then swallowed of course.
