Why create a $100 burger?
Was the restaurant owner affronted that the $150 McDonald sandwich (named after the chef creator) was to be found in London.
Was he seeking a way to raise money for charity ($10 per burger!)?
Or was he otherwise motivated?

you know...after dating/almost marrying a raging foodie of a pastry chef...
nothing with food surprises me. especially not what people will pay for it. i have seen rent-equivalent sunk into an evening of sushi.
besides the fact massaging cows sound .... creepy.
was he the sponge that got away?
oh if by that you mean, i was the one paying for it... not the case. no, no. his patron/boss was will leaman. (us baking team...coupe du monde de la boulangerie star....).. he was well enough off.
