Cachet Society.

In a fickle twist of fate, the Times today reports that the subliminal name droppers of whom I wrote yesterday may be dropping decidely the wrong names.

Any suggestion that this development is correlated with Hugh's plans is of course entirely scurrilous.

Rose is huge because it's being pushed as the thing for the middle class to do in order to feel like they are upper class.

Meanwhile, I though the phrase "thinking class" was a kneeslapping hoot! In your face, rose drinking autobots!

Hey, I happen to like rose'.

Always have in preference to heavy reds and acidic whites. So I am now an autobot? Cooool! An upperclass rose' drinking autobot.

Now that is classy but regardless as a newly upgraded socialite, I will not be holidaying on the Atlantic side this year. It is too brisky and stocked up full with uptight more-arse-than-class types.

St Trop-Canne-Nice-Villefranche-Cap Ferrat-Beallieu- Roqbrun is still the cool place to layback and promenade my stuff! Better still, more room for us if the arseclass have all gone the chilly Atlantic way.
